Business investors are those individuals that invest in businesses of their choice. Typically, they are high net-worth individuals who have made success in other areas of their lives, whether it be the corporate world or their own entrepreneurial endeavors. Business investors can provide the money to help peoples' dreams come true, and realize their business's success. Business investors can take the form of angel investors or venture capitalists; and sometimes even friends and family.
Investments from friends and family have their drawbacks. Losing a family members' money is not a good thing. In addition, family and friends usually cannot provide the amount of capital required, thus angels and venture capitalists often make more sense. Business investors range from the non-savvy to the very savvy. Some business investors will require more paperwork than others.
