Oohpop.com certifies and evaluates outdoor media campaigns for media buyers and advertisers. We are a self-funded Chicago based startup in search of Lead Developer/CTO. You will be in charge of all technology and web development, receiving a vested equity stake in the company. This is a non-paid position; there will be ample opportunity for huge benefits and a great work atmosphere in the very near future.

A prototype of our website has been built by outside developers, so we are expecting the Lead Developer to start from where the outside development team leaves off. The prototype is a dynamically generated, online web application built with the google web toolkit and xml data. Our server utilizes JSP for server side scripting and hosts a PDF rendering engine that takes xml data and a xsl stylesheet to produce PDF's. MySQL will play a role when the site grows.

You will work with the CEO in a daily capacity to help the site grow and optimize its current functionality. In the short term, we would like you to expand the functionality of the prototype to support multiple users and data uploads. Phase two will require building out the full functioning application, data base architecture, and administration tools.

Responsibilities
Daily site maintenance, de-bugging, coding, servers, feature additions
Direct communication with the CEO a daily basis to focus on projects and value added tasks
Bring ideas and new ways of looking at problems and opportunities
Assist in investor and sales presentations
Manage team of developers and tech support people in the future

Experience
This is a very ambitious site, so only those that have expert knowledge of JavaScript, XEP servlets, XML, google maps, and database architecture are asked to apply. Project management experience required.
