Professional Summary
We have three products in development and nearly ready for market, which are:
? Posture Makeover Kit™ for consumers;
? Facial Reposturing™ Training Package for spa professionals; and
? Reposturing Fitness™ Training Package for fitness professionals.
Given these product systems, the following is our Seven Point Marketing Plan that we feel will begin to respond to the market demand for a “green,” natural, affordable and effective way to achieve vitality and pain-free living.
Given these product systems, the following is our Seven Point Marketing Plan that we feel will begin to respond to the market demand for a “green,” natural, affordable and effective way to achieve vitality and pain-free living:
1). The strategy of our marketing plan is to present our Reposturing solutions first to wellness industry professionals, reaching consumers through them, then ultimately reaching out to the consumer directly. Our market positioning and powerful message will cause:
? Consumers to purchase our products; and
? Professionals to buy our training and certification packages.
2). Our Reposturing solutions are comprehensive and cohesive.
? Consumers will appreciate that our solutions are affordable and readily available.
? Fitness center professionals will recognize that (unlike Pilates or Spinning, which require a substantial cash outlay for equipment, and floor space) our solutions utilize new processes on existing equipment.
? Spa and wellness center professionals will see our treatments as natural, effective, long-lasting, not product-dependent, and profitable.
3). Our target end-user is the individual who is seeking natural, affordable ways to achieve vitality, beauty and a pain-free lifestyle.
4). The marketing tools and tactics we will employ include:
? Search Engine Optimization;
? A new, compelling web site that includes Video Testimonials;
? Demonstrations and presentations at consumer health and fitness fairs;
? Article-writing and placement in online and print magazines directed to trade as well as consumers;
? Demonstrations and presentations at beauty and fitness trade conferences; and
? A Thought-Leader type PR program that incorporates both traditional and new media.
5). Our specific message is "Vitality through Great Posture." Improving your posture is the simplest, best way to:
? Experience pain-free living;
? Achieve beauty and fitness naturally; and
? Live a life of vitality.
6). Our Identity:
? Reposturing is the next new thing in fitness and natural beauty;
? Reposturing connects posture to vitality, natural beauty and pain-free living;
? Reposturing improves your posture quickly and specifically; and
? Reposturing is affordable and easy to do, with equipment readily available to most consumers worldwide.
7). What this means for you:
? Your investment of $240,000 will help us respond to the national health crisis with affordable solutions. These solutions will be helpful, not only in the US, but globally, as our intentions are to utilize web-based technology and exhibits at international trade shows to expand our market penetration to Asia, Europe, and Latin America; and
? After our initial product developments and market entry (which will be over the next 12-18 months), we expect our marketing budget to decrease as a percentage of sales as or revenue increases. However, it will continue to increase in pure dollars since as our marketing plan includes international market development.
I look forward to working in partnership with you to move Phyziquest Vitality Enterprizes to the next level, offering an affordable and innovative approach to health and vitality for all.
Here is where we are in the process of growing VSI:
We have applied for 2 trademarks with the USPTO.
We own 48 URL’s, many of which be turned into great online businesses.
Built a new web site (under construction) that will be able to scale up to infinity as the business grows.
In the process of applying for additional Continuing Education credentials, so that we can offer CEUs to doctors, nurses, fitness trainers, etc. We already have State of California, and Massage Therapy Association credentials, and are on track to acquire at least a dozen more health wellness credentials,
by December 2008.
Passive income from certificate fees from new Reposturing trainees is starting to come in. However, thus far, I have been financing development of VSI using profits from my successful practice providing Reposturing treatments to clients. There are now, two additional practitioners on my staff. I am taking only high-end clients as new clients. All other new clients are going to the other Reposturing associates.
My inner circle of professionals include: Two executive administrative staff, and my project manager work a total of 70 hours per week. We also have an accountant, bookkeeper, graphic designer, web designer, branding coach, PR agent, and business coach.
Nearly all of my non-client service time is devoted to finalizing contracts with licensees, working with my web designer, graphic artist and public relations and branding coaches; developing course material for licensees to teach my work to a THIRD generation of practitioners.
To date, I have produced the following market-ready products to sell. A fitness video (which you have seen), I produced two books: Living with Vitality (200 pages) (which you have read) and Great Posture—The Dynamic Dance (60 pages/full color).
In addition to publishing a monthly newsletter, we have produced dozens of low-budget commercials and testimonials that can be used to market my trainings and my practice. I’ve worked with a branding coach to synthesize the look and feel of book covers, graphics/logos, etc.
Cash-flow from my practice is between $20k -$22k/month. About 25% of it is payments on debt carried on 0%credit cards. With the limited resources available through my monthly cash flow and approximately $80,000 in debt ($65,000 at 0% until December 2008, and $15,000 at 0% until 2010), I’ve done everything I can with the budget I have to accomplish production of a solid foundation for infinite and perpetual world-wide growth.
We are now at the point that what is needed to effectively take Phyziquest Vitality Sciences Institute (VSI) to the potential world-wide market is WAY more than the profit from my practice could possibly finance.
Perhaps it is audacious for us to ask for your help at this time. We want to do more, and we can’t accomplish the vision without the help of a visionary investor. We could not be more resolute about my stewardship, commitment and the preparedness of our team to step into the mission ahead. It is with great sincerity that we submit this proposal to you. Are YOU our angel investor?
Abundant Blessings to you and your family—
Warmest Regards,
Aaron Lloyd Ulysses Parnell, ACST
Executive Director, Phyziquest Vitality Sciences Institute

More Info and footnotes:
All said and done: The cohesive foundation has been laid to make Reposturing Fitness the new Pilates of the fitness industry, Reposturing treatments the new Rolfing treatments of the spa-wellness industry, the web site Shop as the “Sharper Image for Vitality oriented products, and VSI the new AARP for health conscious consumers and the manufacturers and professionals who want to reach them.
There are countless references (See footnotes below) on the web, that establish the potential profit in these combined markets. For example: …”US baby boomers will increase their spending on wellness-based services from approximately 200 billion dollars today to 1 trillion dollars every year over the next 10 years…” The profit potential for VSI over ten years time is $billions (referencing a personal conversation with Billy Blanks who has sold over $30 million dollars annually, and over $1 billion in Tae-Bo products over 10 ten years; and a personal conversation with Moira Stott of Stott Pilates, whose product and DVD sales continue to expand every year, but did not disclose finances).
What we need now is adequate funding to bring the empire to life. Potential markets for this work include:
Health-conscious baby-boomers who want to restore and reclaim their vitality.
Generation Xers who are now in mid carrier and starting to incorporate fitness and healthy life-styles, including yoga.
Generation Y (the Millennials) who are looking for the latest in fitness at their local fitness center.
Health and wellness professionals who want to offer leading-edge treatments to improve beauty and health naturally and products to clients with chronic pain
Sports medicine professionals who want to offer leading-edge treatment and training options to patients suffering from sports-performance problems such as problems with: knee, foot, elbows and shoulders
Women who want to improve their bodies and reclaim their beauty naturally.
With each of my products, service and training offerings there are additional tie-ins possible through manufacturers of bedding, ergonomic furniture, nutrition, skin-care products and fitness equipment and accessories. There is potential to enter the market for book sales through lectures and seminars, opportunities for programming on public television and opportunities for product sales via infomercials or QVC.

A---The US fitness industry had revenues of $15.9 billion in 2005 and the SGMA survey said Pilates was one of the fastest growing segments of the fitness industry. It also cited Pilates as having the greatest growth potential in the coming year.
B--- The latest "Yoga in America" study, just released by Yoga Journal shows that Americans spend $5.7 billion a year on yoga classes and products, including equipment, clothing, vacations and media such as DVDs, videos, books and magazines. This figure represents an increase of 87% compared to the previous study in 2004—almost double of what was previously spent. Source: http://www.skininc.com/news/15979837.html
C-- In the United States alone, spas are annually a 13-billion-dollar industry. Approximately five years ago medical spas began to appear on the spa industry’s radar screen. ‘Medspas’, as they are commonly known, have grown 133%, the highest growth rate of any spa type…. US baby boomers will increase their spending on wellness-based services from approximately 200 billion dollars today to 1 trillion dollars every year over the next 10 years. With new technology and innovations consistently coming along, medical spa innovators are uniquely positioned to bring results-oriented treatments, procedures and services to meet the health, beauty and balance needs of baby boomers as well as to their health and beauty conscious children. Research indicates that this group has more disposable income than other demographic groups and takes steps to stay healthy and look good. E-- While people aged 35 to 54 formed the biggest group of practitioners, Yoga Journal said, the biggest growth is among those aged 18 to 24 [The Millennials]. The surging interest in yoga reflects a love affair with spas and feeling good from the inside out. According to the International Spa Association, the number of spas in the United States has increased 25 percent since 2002, to 12,100 today, up from 9,632, generating revenue of $11 billion. Over a different span, the number of spa visits rose 50 percent, to 136 million in 2003 from 91 million in 1999, a spokeswoman said. "That translates to a whole lot of massages," said Mary Bemis, founder of the Insiders Guide to Spas. Source: http://www.uptownpilates.com/east/press/nytimes.htm
