Zahra Pictures' first film was 'On Common Grounds'. Produced by Ahmad Zahra, it was broadcast on the Hallmark Channel and bridges TV with high ratings. It was released on Zahra Pictures own DVD label in 2005 and continues to screen around the US and internationally till today. Since then Zahra has produced a host of films including 'AmericanEast', a feature film co-production, starring Golden Globe Winner, Tony Shalhoub, that will be released 2008 by Metro Goldwyn Myers Studios (MGM). Also slated for release by Zahra in 2008 are Rolla Selbak’s first feature film
