Company Description:
I am in the midst of developing a solution for the foodservice industry, which will impact healthy choices in planning, operational efficiencies, and staff empowerment within catering, health service and institutional kitchens worldwide. The final product will be a point and click spreadsheet system, which integrates menus, recipes, purchasing system, and inventory systems, all of which work in unison to simplify planning and conversions. The traditional food service systems work independently and fall short of simplicity. This system will eliminate the guesswork in developing special dietary alternatives (such as gluten-free, dairy-free, or low sugar options) and includes a point and click option to adjust all or portions of the menus. The users of this system will have the ability for the first time to adjust the number of guests served and the system will adjust all of the remaining components – recipe quantities, purchase quantities, and inventory adjustment. The system is approximately 25% complete. At this point I am seeking an angel investor to assist with funding to cover the remaining development and licensing.
