We buy large tracks of land and resell it to those wishing to live according to the rules of the community, and have as neighbors that would also follow these rules. These are rules that we as developers must adhere to especially. In building the physical aspects, and developing the rules of the community, we strive to be as close to zero emissions as possible. However it won't necessarily be analogous of an Amish community. We are very interested in new technologies. (however one or more of the communities can be designed to look like anachronisms -like an Amish community, however if we find a demand for such) What I have in mind is something like the city the U.A.E. is building -Masdar City.( Why not in America?? ) Or something somewhere in between the two - Masdar City and an Amish community. It should have amenities that other gated communities have such as tennis courts, fitness centers, swimming pools and natural bodies of water for recreation. however no polluting vehicles are to be allowed. There would be electric vehicles available on the community grounds, and relatively clean vehicles such as Toyota Prius parked outside the gates available for rent for long distance journeys.
