How Projects Work
Go BIG ‘Projects’ are classified ads that allow members of Go BIG to describe their
task and projects that they cannot complete in-house. Other members who can offer
their expertise browse and respond to these Project Descriptions.
There are three parts that make Projects a success:
Posting a Project Request
Contacting Project Owners
Receiving Messages
Posting a Project Request
If you have a specific project that you would like to outsource to a third party,
or require an expert to assist you with completing the work, you must first create
a Project Request.
- Create a Go BIG Account – You must be a member to create a Project Request-
it is free to join.
- Post a Project Process
- Select ‘Projects’
- Select Category (Business Planning,
Creative Services, Programming, Marketing)
- Create an eye-catching Headline
- Describe your project in paragraph form (tips)
- Select Basic (10 day duration) or Premium option (30 days)
- Done!
- Project Approval – Each project is approved by our administrators before
it is released for public view. You will receive an email confirming your submission
and also one for project approval.
Contacting Project Owners
Any member of Go BIG has the functionality to communicate with members of the network.
There are several ways that a user can connect with another user.
- Contact Directly. This option requires a Subscription which is a paid product
that allows for either 3 or 20 individual contacts per day.
- Respond to a Request. Respond to 3 (three) unique Project Posts per day without
a subscription. Use your Subscription if you want to respond to more Projects per
day.
Receiving Messages
As a member of Go BIG you have an Inbox for all your messages. You can access ‘Messaging’
through your Profile page.
Inbox – All your inbound messages come into this folder. Direct responses
to a Project also appear here.
Responding – Any message that comes into your inbox you can instantly respond
to and continue a conversation.
Preferences – Set your preference to be immediately notified by email of
new messages that come through your Inbox. Alternatively, you can log into Go BIG
regularly to stay updated.
