Description: Next Level Gaming is the next form of entertainment, Local Area Network Gaming. What TVs were to the 20th Century is what interactive entertainment is to the 21st Century. The computer and video game industry took in about USD$9.5 billion in the US in 2007 (ESA annual report). Our niche will be pointed towards these types of customers, ones looking for our form of interactive entertainment as well as additionally offering IT and graphic design services. Next Level’s main product will be something that does not even physically exist, time. We will be providing a service as well as an atmosphere. After equipment is purchased, and expenses are paid the business will generate over 230% of profit from what was put in starting generally and can only grow. Our focus will be the gaming center, followed by our other services. Next Level’s customers for gaming will be children to adults, ages 14-30. A majority of these customers will also be male. These will be generally customers with disposable income, and parents looking for safe entertainment for their children. This will provide a broad range of customers for us to take advantage of in respect to the gaming portion of the business. As for the IT and graphic design services this will include universally any person or business in the central Florida area, as well as worldwide via the internet. There will be two owners to Next Level, Shawn Canada and Terry Unger. Both owners have worked in the gaming industry for years, as well as actually managing a gaming center before and quality assurance testers and managers of the second largest company that produces games in the world. Shawn has worked at a multitude of areas that will assist Next Level, including retail associate at Office Depot, IT manager and night time manager of Net Heroes Gaming Center, graphic artist for both DMMI Inc, as well as Lake Region Printing, and QA tester and manager for Electronic Arts - Tiburon. Terry’s experience in the industry will also aid in Next Level’s progression. Terry has worked in the retail industry and customer service industry. Terry has also been the daytime manager for Net Heroes, and a QA tester/manager for Electronic Arts as mentioned above. Our business will be a twenty-four hour open business within walking distance from a University that is also running classes twenty-four hours as well. This will ensure customers, and maximum utilization of rental property. This will also ensure maximum level of income for the business as well. In order for Next Level to be successful, we require $165,000 dollars. Currently the owners are investing 18% of their personal assets. With that said, we are looking for $147,000 from an Investor. $85,290 of this $165,000 will be used for startup assets and costs. The additional $74,058 will be for operational expenses of 6 months. Start up expenses can be reduced by leasing PC systems and hardware, but economically would be better to purchase equipment. If the business makes enough to cover all operating expenses, a majority of the $74,058 will be repaid. From calculations, the loan should be paid back within the first or second year of business. The funds granted will provide all equipment needed to open, as well as funds for getting the business off the ground. This business has the potential to make half a million dollars a year with equipment purchased with the start-up funds. The owners of Next Level will not allow this business to fail. We have seen the do’s and do not’s of the industry, and will do everything possible to make this center a large success. We can guarantee after 3 years even at the lowest utilization of the center, the loan will be repaid with interest, as well as a percentage of the yearly income. Next Level will be profitable because the amount invested is much less then, what the center will make yearly insuring payback.
